Put square brackets round the clauses in these sentences. Label each clause MCl or one of five types of SCl: Adverbial Clause (ACl); Noun Clause (NCl); Relative Clause (RCl); Comparative Clause (CCl); Prepositional Clause (PCl).

Remember that every clause contains a predicator. Subordinate Clauses are discussed in Unit 9
